Yellowtag takes the privacy of its members very seriously. We are committed to safeguarding the privacy of our users while providing a personalised and valuable service. Our privacy policy tells you how we use information collected from you. This privacy policy may change from time to time. Any changes will be notified on this website and, provided we have your current email address on file, you will also be notified by email.

How we protect your information 
The information that you provide us is encrypted before it leaves your computer and is held on Yellowtag’s secure server. We take reasonable,  practical and sensible security precautions to prevent your data being accessed by any unauthorised persons.

The information we collect 

When you use our services we need to know your name, email address and postal address so that we can operate our service efficiently on your behalf. We also ask for your date of birth as one of a number of measures to verify your identity should you forget your password. If you purchase products from us we also have to collect your credit card details so that we can process the transaction. We also ask you to provide other personal information about yourself so that we can tailor our services more precisely to your needs. If you give us permission we may also provide this information to our business associates in order that they may also offer you their promotions, products or services. This information will not be disclosed to third parties unless you have given us permission to do so. Occasionally we may run contests or promotions where we ask you to provide similar information. You may review and update the information that we hold about you by clicking on ‘My Portfolio’ and choosing ‘Change  my personal information’. Yellowtag may disclose your information to an appropriate law enforcement agency, whether you have provided your consent or not, if we are required to do so. We may do this to comply with the law, to protect or defend our rights and property, to prevent abuse of the Yellowtag service or to ensure the personal safety of Yellowtag members, the general public and their property.


We may also collect information automatically about your visits to our site. The information obtained in this way, which includes demographic data and browsing patterns, is used only in aggregate form (so that no individual user is identified).

Yellowtag.com is registered under the Data Protection Acts of 1984 and 1998, which requires us to follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information that you have given us, to prevent unauthorised access. Our security procedures mean that we may occasionally request proof of identity before we are able to disclose sensitive information to you.

Cookies
